Approximately 30 feral horses reside on the Rachel Carson Reserve, across from the Beaufort Waterfront. Beaufort residents and visitors enjoy capturing glimpses of these equine marvels as they leisurely graze on the salt marsh cordgrass that grows throughout the Reserve. This album provides views of the Beaufort Waterfront from the perspective of the horses. Enjoy!
